THE TESTIMONY OF LORD OF PEACE MINISTRIES FOUNDER REV.A. JOSEPH
Early Days :
Rev.Joseph ( former name – Chokkalingalam ) born in a village called Ammanathangal in Walajah Taluk. Studied in Deenabandu Ashram and stopped studying till STD 9.
During 5th std, when he was playing with friends, an evangelist met them and said “Children, Accept Jesus Christ, your life will be a blessed one”. For the first time in his life he heard about Lord Jesus. He gave room for Jesus in his heart and started to worship. Started to follow Jesus but did receive the Salvation.
In 1971, at Ranipettai he had the opportunity to attend a C.S.I. Church. Later he was working in a Leather tanning company he attended a Pentecostal Church. He committed completely himself to full time Ministry. Gifts of Spirit like Healing started to operate in him and many have received blessings. It led to the establishment of a beautiful Church at Banavaram.
Early Ministry in Arakonam
In 1978 God blessed Rev. Joseph and his wife Sis.Sheeba couple with a boy child and as a family ministered in Arakonam. He was humiliated in the Ministry several times but never bothered about it and was doing Ministry with great enthusiasm. Without any offerings, tithes, etc., the Ministry was running with great hardships but his Ministry was applauded & appreciated by the Senior Pastor.
Establishment of Lord of Peace Ministry
In 1994 he joined with Bishop. James Santhosam in the village Thanigaiporur and was doing Ministry till 2002. Later Rev.Joseph commenced his own Ministry and named it “The Lord of Peace”. His Ministry spread all over Arokonam and neighbouring districts Vellore, Thiruvannamalai, Kancheepuram and also in Trupathi, Chithoor, Puthur, Nagari districts of Andhra.
Currently, Branch Churches are conducted at Ullimbakkam, Puliyamangalam, Periya Kadambur, Nandi Vedanthangal, Esalapuram, Banavaram, Melnelli, Ulliyanallur, Thandalam, Melath Nagar, Kilkuppam. The Head Church is situated at Arokanam Winterpettai. Rev.Joseph also travelled to Malaysia, Singapore and done Ministries.
Multi Media Ministry
Rev.Joseph is a Prayer Warrior, great Preacher with good Word of God knowledge. “Anuthinam Yesuvodu” Magazine is published on Monthly basis and also released AUDIO & VIDEO CD’s.
Social Services :
We are also involved in doing Community Social Services by conducting Medical Camps, Educational support to the Poor and Caring the Widows thereby uplifting the economically weak, oppressed, suppressed.
Founder’s Family :
Rev. Joseph and his wife Sis.Sheeba has been blessed with 3 sons and 2 daughters, 6 grandchildren. All are involved in the Ministry.
